With the sale of one burger, it makes only $0.18 profit, but when it sells the burger with fries and a coke, it makes a straight profit of $1.32. This is the power of upselling. The real stuff is centered around upselling Look at the picture below and get the clear vision of how it works!

My biggest problem with leadpages and instapage is they are super expensive. For someone starting to start out on a shoestring budget, lots of times those aren’t great options. I personally tried LeadSanity.com and it works great for me. They certainly aren’t as feature-rich as the other guys, but they have a free version and their paid accounts are cheap as hell. Just my two cents.
Leadpages includes a lot of extras that fill out the customer experience universe including a countdown timer so your pages automatically expire, automatic SMS text messaging for lead generation, and Center, a Zapier-like automation that lets you pull data from one connected app and push it to another. Center only has a few connections now, but it’s worth exploring if you don’t have another marketing automation tool in your arsenal.
Hey Kenny, great article. Checking out a few of the platforms right know:) Quick sort-of-relevant question, would building manual squarespace landing pages + opt-in forms work? Can I get a similar landing page from creating manually on Squarespace as I can on Leadpages. The way I understand LP, is I wouldn’t be able to A/B test a ton, but that is manageable. At least until Leadpages makes more financial sense for me. Thanks a ton man, Ryan

Page Editor (Winner: Unbounce) Leadpages provides a simple Standard Builder for static editing and a Drag-and-Drop Builder for extensive customizations. The Unbounce drag-and-drop editor outshines Leadpages’ in functionalities. The Leadpages Standard Editor is the best when it comes to simplicity. The Unbounce Drag and Drop Editor might seem complex because of its advanced functionalities. Although Leadpages’ Drag-and-Drop Editor supports a wide array of tweaks, Unbounce provides more functionalities. Unbounce wins because it supports holistically advanced editing.
It uses two editors, a static editor and a column-based drag and drop (CDD) editor. Both editors are not easily customizable and do not offer much flexibility as the pixel-precise drag and drop editor. It doesn’t require any prior knowledge of coding before you can operate the tool effectively. It also has features that offer more control over how you relate with your customers. The large number of ready-made templates that LeadPages offer makes it stand out among other leading page builders.
Unbounce also lets you create sticky bars for your site. These bright forms draw attention to the offers and help to get more conversions without paying for more traffic. The editor allows you to add pop-up windows (which are called overlays here) on exit, on arrival, after a delay, on a scroll, or on click. There are plenty of pop-up templates to choose from, and you may also customize them. This feature is not available with Instapage.
